TIME: 8:00 AM Contestants who have not pre-registered for duck or goose contest

8:30 AM All duck calling contestants must be in the bullpen by 8:30 AM

12:30 PM All goose calling contestants must be in bullpen by 12:30 PM

4:00 PM Award ceremony for duck and goose calling championship

DIVISIONS: Jr. Hunter (17 yr./under) $15 Duck, $15 Goose, $20 Combined

Hunter (18 yr./older) $25 Duck, $25 Goose, $40 Combined

($10 late registration fee the day of event)

CATEGORIES:

Duck calling contest – Based on World sanctioning rules. Each contestant shall be allowed a maximum of 90 seconds.

Judging shall be based upon contestant’s ability to bring in a simulated flight of ducks using all of the following Calls:

1) Hail call or long distance call; 2) Mating or lonesome duck call; 3) Feed or chatter call; 4) Comeback call. Routine will

be scored on volume, clarity, and realism. The decision of the judges shall be based upon cumulative scoring. Contest will

consist of a three rounds of single elimination calling.

Goose calling contest – Based on competitive calling rules. Each contestant shall be allowed a maximum of 90 seconds.

Judging shall be based upon contestant’s ability to bring in a simulated flight of geese using all of the following Calls:

1) Hail call; 2) Greeting or come-on in call; 3) Comeback call 4) Intermediate Call; 5) Lay-down call. The decision of the

judges shall be based upon cumulative scoring. Routine will be scored on volume, clarity, and realism.

I CERTIFY that I am currently a resident of the State of Oregon and in consideration of the acceptance of

this agreement, I agree to abide by the rules of the sanctioning body and the procedures governing the duck

and goose calling contest and the Oregon Waterfowl Festival and any decisions in accordance with them.

I further agree that I have entered at my own risk and that I will hold the host club, and its members and agents

free from any claims ensuing out of this entry or participation in the contest.
